Benjamin Kanes has worked with and learned from some of the most interesting creative professionals working today. Filmmakers: Wong Kar Wai, M. Night Shyamalan, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Adam McKay, Allen Hughes, 3 time oscar-winner Emmanuel Lubezki, to name a few. Playwrights Charles L. Mee and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Actors: Mark Wahlberg, Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, David Strathairn, Norah Jones,  Michael Keaton and many others.

Behind the camera Benjamin produces feature, documentary and short films, music videos and live music performances, commercials and more. He had his first photograph published at the age of 11 and has been a true creative story teller ever since.

Benjamin also apprenticed for two years in the art studio of world renowned portrait painter Ralph Cowan, who later became the subject of Kanes's feature length documentary The Last Old Master.
